Welcome to Envelopes of Adventure!

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Envelopes of Adventure website, online store, and related products and services (collectively, the “Services”).

In these Terms, “Envelopes of Adventure”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Envelopes of Adventure. “You” and “your” refer to the person using our Services or purchasing our products.

By accessing our website, creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using our Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Services.

1. Eligibility and Use of Our Services

You must be at least the age of majority in your province or territory of residence to enter into a purchase agreement with us.

Envelopes of Adventure is designed primarily for parents, caregivers, educators, and families purchasing educational materials for children. Children may use the products with the permission and supervision of a parent, guardian, or other responsible adult.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of our Services, and any use of our products by children in your care, is appropriate and complies with applicable laws.

When using our website or placing an order, you agree to provide information that is accurate, current, and complete.

2. Our Products

Envelopes of Adventure creates educational subscription materials designed to encourage children to explore history, geography, culture, creativity, and the world around them.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, illustrations, pricing, and other information on our website are accurate. However, colours and images may appear differently depending on your device or screen.

Product contents, designs, illustrations, themes, activities, and other details may occasionally change as we develop and improve Envelopes of Adventure.

We reserve the right to modify, replace, or discontinue products or subscription offerings at any time.

3. Orders and Acceptance

When you place an order through our website, you are submitting an offer to purchase the selected product or subscription.

Your order is subject to acceptance by Envelopes of Adventure. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including because of pricing errors, inventory limitations, suspected fraud, technical errors, or other circumstances that prevent us from fulfilling the order.

If we cancel an order after payment has been processed, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled portion of the order.

You are responsible for reviewing your order carefully before submitting it, including your name, email address, shipping address, subscription selection, and payment information.

4. Subscription Products

Some Envelopes of Adventure products are offered as subscriptions.

The subscription option selected at checkout will determine the price, billing frequency, and duration of your subscription.

For recurring subscriptions, your subscription will automatically renew according to the terms displayed at checkout unless you cancel before the next renewal.

You may cancel a recurring subscription before the next billing date to prevent future charges.

Cancellation of a subscription does not automatically refund previous payments or shipments that have already been processed, except where required by applicable law or as otherwise provided in our Refund Policy.

Prepaid subscriptions cover the subscription period purchased at checkout and do not automatically renew unless clearly stated otherwise.

5. Pricing, Taxes and Payment

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated.

Applicable taxes and shipping charges will be displayed at checkout where required.

Prices, promotions, discounts, and subscription rates may change from time to time. Changes to pricing will not affect an order that has already been accepted and paid for, unless otherwise permitted by law.

You agree to provide accurate and complete payment information and authorize us, or our payment service providers, to charge the applicable amount for your purchase.

If a payment cannot be processed, we may suspend or cancel an order or subscription until payment can be successfully processed.

6. Promotions and Discounts

Promotional offers, discounts, coupon codes, introductory pricing, and other special offers may be subject to additional terms.

Unless otherwise stated, promotional offers cannot be combined with other discounts.

We reserve the right to correct pricing or promotional errors and to cancel an order affected by an obvious error, subject to applicable law.

7. Shipping and Delivery

We ship Envelopes of Adventure products to the locations listed on our website.

Shipping and delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly state otherwise.

Once an order has been shipped, delivery is handled by the applicable postal or shipping carrier. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, postal disruptions, incorrect addresses, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

You are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address.

If an order is returned to us because an incorrect or incomplete address was provided, additional shipping costs may apply before the order can be resent.

If your order appears to be lost or has not arrived within a reasonable period, please contact us so that we can investigate and determine an appropriate resolution.

Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection legislation.

8. Returns, Refunds and Cancellations

Our returns, refunds, damaged-item, and cancellation procedures are described in our Refund & Return Policy.

By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review that policy.

Nothing in our Refund & Return Policy or these Terms is intended to limit rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Canadian consumer protection laws.

9. Pre-Orders

From time to time, Envelopes of Adventure may offer products for pre-order.

When placing a pre-order, you acknowledge that the product may not yet be available for immediate shipment.

Any estimated release or shipping date provided for a pre-order is an estimate unless expressly stated otherwise.

If circumstances prevent us from fulfilling a pre-order, we will notify affected customers and provide an appropriate resolution, including a refund where applicable.

10. Intellectual Property

All content associated with Envelopes of Adventure, including our name, logo, characters, illustrations, letters, educational materials, activities, maps, artwork, photographs, graphics, written content, website design, videos, and other original materials, is owned by or licensed to Envelopes of Adventure and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Your purchase of an Envelopes of Adventure product gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive right to use the purchased materials for personal or household educational purposes.

Unless we provide written permission, you may not:

• Reproduce or redistribute our educational materials for commercial purposes
• Sell, license, or commercially distribute our letters, activities, maps, artwork, or other materials
• Upload our materials to public websites or file-sharing services
• Remove copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
• Create derivative commercial products using our characters, content, or educational materials
• Use our branding, characters, or artwork to suggest an affiliation or endorsement that does not exist

Teachers, homeschool groups, educators, and organisations wishing to use Envelopes of Adventure materials beyond personal or household use should contact us for permission.

11. User Reviews and Feedback

If you voluntarily submit reviews, testimonials, comments, photographs, suggestions, ideas, or other feedback to Envelopes of Adventure (“Feedback”), you grant us permission to use, reproduce, display, and share that Feedback for purposes related to operating and promoting Envelopes of Adventure.

For example, we may feature a customer review or photograph on our website or social media.

You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to provide any Feedback you submit to us.

We will not knowingly use a child’s personal information or image for promotional purposes without appropriate permission from a parent or legal guardian.

We reserve the right to remove Feedback that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, defamatory, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate.

Our online store is powered by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Your purchase is made directly from Envelopes of Adventure, not Shopify.

Shopify is not responsible for our products, order fulfilment, customer service, or any dispute between you and Envelopes of Adventure.

Shopify’s own services are governed by Shopify’s applicable terms and policies.

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes.

You must not use our Services to:

• Violate applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our website, accounts, systems, or data
• Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Interfere with the operation or security of our website

Nothing in this section requires you to indemnify us for matters that cannot legally be transferred to you under applicable law.

Because our store is hosted on Shopify and we use third-party service providers to process payments, orders, shipping, communications, and other functions, personal information may be processed by those providers as necessary to provide our Services.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute will be subject to the applicable courts and dispute-resolution processes available in British Columbia, except where applicable consumer protection legislation provides otherwise.
